Now that I’m back from AdventConnect 2012 Monte Carlo, the first thing I want to do is thank all of you who attended and helped to make the event such a success.
It was rewarding to see how well attended the sessions were—a few were even standing room only! We had more news, updates, and progress to share than ever before, including a preview of our next-generation solutions—the new wealth and asset management platform and our integrated suite for alternative investment managers—as well as our roadmaps for future development. (If you have a few minutes, our kickoff video will give you a peek at the event.)
I thought the atmosphere at AdventConnect was nothing less than vibrant. Our clients and staff were excited to hear about how we’re taking the company and our solutions to the next level. Clients had plenty of opportunity to chat with Advent solutions experts, product development teams, and executives, and it was gratifying for us to hear clients confirm that we’re moving in the right direction.
I spoke with many clients myself, and in addition to an enthusiastic response to our solution enhancements, I heard positive feedback on the business advisory reviews that we conducted. We set up a team of experienced individuals who spoke with clients about getting more value from their Advent solutions. Clients who had reviews said they were thrilled with the results, and others expressed keen interest.
I also heard clients say that, as usual, it was great to meet other clients and Advent staff and that the event was very professional. AdventConnect Monte Carlo culminated with a gala dinner. We had the privilege of dining at the Salle des Etoiles, whose roof opened onto a display of fireworks against the night sky. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who left in awe over the experiences of the previous two days, and I’m already looking forward to next year.
